Since Covid, the world has seen an unprecedented decline in economic activity with a huge impact on most African countries.
This has been compounded by the recent war in Ukraine, which has had major impact, and Africa has been greatly and negatively impacted by this.
Most rural areas in Africa have seen a steady decline in the receipt of help from their central government, and this has been worsened by the recent Covid outbreak.
It is with this in mind that AFCM has been set up to reach rural areas where poverty is a constant experience, and standard of living is greatly affected.
Lack of basic facilities such as clean water, medical facilities and schools are a reality in these areas, and not only has this affected people’s standard of living, but mortality rate has worsened and the future for younger generation is bleak.
